Dolly Wink haul ☆
I've been looking up Dolly Wink
products for a while now (which we all know aren't very cheap
) and I'm happy to say that I finally got some! For those of you who don't know what Dolly Wink is, it's basically a Japanese cosmetic line created by Masuwaka Tsubasa, who is a former Popteen model. Seeing as Tsu-chan developed the line, you can obviously make out who her targeted audience was. Any who, I purchased the false eyelashes in #No. 1 Dolly Sweet since they seemed to be the most popular
and were always the ones that were sold out on websites. Luckily I didn't have to purchase any online because there's a Japanese market that sells them in my area
Notice how long and lovely
they are? Even the packaging is to die for but hey, what else do you expect from the reigning queen of cuteness right? I always hate ruining such nicely wrapped items. I swear, it kills me
I haven't tried them out yet because I decided that since these lashes were so expensive, I needed to go all out and be totally gyaru when I finally wear them. The regular price for these lashes at the market I bought them at were $16.99, but I got them on sale for $13.99! The whole Dolly Wink line was on sale, actually. Lashes were $13.99, the liquid eyeliner was reduced to $14.99, eyelash glue was $11.99, and the eyelash case was $4.99. The last day for the sale was today
and if I had the money, I would have bought bottom lashes in #No. 8.
I heard the liquid eyeliner was pretty good, so I bought that along with the lashes. Again, it had the cutest packaging
The eyeliner looked like a pen, and it had a very thin felt tip. I haven't tried it yet either, but I did do a swatch on my arm and I was surprised how black the color was
I tried wiping it off my arm by dabbing my finger on my tongue and trying to wipe it off with my spit since it claimed it was water-proof. It wasn't spit-proof, haha, but it was difficult to remove after a couple of tries! I have a feeling I'm going to be very satisfied with this product

MATCHA~
Mad, mad cravings this weekend
. I think it probably started with ice cream cookies, you know, the ones with vanilla ice cream wedged in between two chocolate chip cookies. And then it switched over to spicy Mexican chips, and now..matcha
. I would've probably threw a bitch fit if I didn't get any of the food that I craved (thank you Calvin
). Now, onto my rant about how much I love matcha. For those of you who don't know what it is, I'll kindly provide you with a googled definition
of matcha. Matcha refers to finely-milled Japanese green tea (courtesy of wikipedia). It's super yummy and it's supposed to be really healthy, which is always a major plus
. A lot of people don't really like the bitter taste, but I personally don't mind it much. I used to drink just the instant matcha latte's before I read how Eki of Ekiblog.com drinks her matcha. She has a lot of really cute stuff on her blog as well, so go check it out
She also has a cute shop where she sells handmade swarovski jewelry and other things (Ekilove.com). I stopped by Mitsuwa to grocery shop for ingredients, tried her version and loved it. So yummy
. The condensed milk really added a lot of sweetness. I definitely recommend anyone who likes matcha to try out her recipe
. I also picked up green tea-flavored mochi and ended up eating the whole thing today
.
Please excuse the bad manicure

New blog!
After skimming over several beauty blogs, I've decided to give it a shot and create one!
I mean, I do like blogging and beauty so it'd be perfect right
? I just have to really try my best to be consistent since I really suck
at that. And I mean really suck. Tomorrow I'll be making my first official intro post. Excited? Yes I am
.
